World Varsity Engineering Challenge
(WoVEC) is one of the Engineering Technology Exhibition 2012 (ENGITEX 2012) sub
programs. It is formed to discover and in the same time creates creative and
innovative future engineers with high-quality ideas. WoVEC is an international
level challenge and it is open to all undergraduate engineering students in
both public and private higher education institutions all around the world.
Our vision is to overcome the
limitation of possibilities through
generating real, genuine engineers who are willing to serve for the goodness of
humankind. Thus, we aimed to formulate engineers who
are able to get beyond the limit of possibilities by using engineering as the
main mechanism and initiate a different view about science and technology or
specifically engineering, by creating a thrilling learning environment and have
a clearer perspective and focus about the engineering, technology and
innovation professions.
In addition, we seek to bring
forward new brains that can work in organizations and teams and are able to
come out with fresh and bright ideas which are more practical and relevant to
recent concerns while nurturing personal development and growth. This vision
has brought us to create this competition with the belief that “Possibilities
are infinite”.
